Clean Before Packaging
Before packing VI Piping needs to be cleaned for the third time in the production process
● Outer Pipe
1. The surface of the VI Piping is wiped with a cleaning agent without water and grease.
● Inner Pipe
1. The VI Piping is first blown by a high-power fan to remove dust and check that no foreign matter is blocked.
2. Purge/blow the inner tube of VI Piping with dry pure nitrogen.
3. Clean with a water & oil free pipe brush.
4. Finally, Purge/blow the inner tube of VI Piping with dry pure nitrogen again.
5. Quickly seal the two ends of the VI Piping with rubber covers to keep nitrogen filling state.
Packaging for VI Piping
There are total two layers for packaging VI Piping. In the first layer, the VI Piping shall be completely sealed with high-ethyl film (thickness ≥ 0.2mm) to protect against moisture (right pipe in the picture above).
The second layer is completely wrapped with packing cloth, mainly to protect against dust and scratches (left pipe in the picture above).
Placing in the Metal Shelf
Export transportation includes not only sea transportation, but also land transportation, as well as multiple lifting, so the fixation of VI Piping is particularly important.
Therefore, steel is selected as the raw material of the packaging shelf. According to the weight of the goods, choose suitable steel specifications. Therefore, an empty metal shelf weight is about 1.5 tons (11 meters x 2.2 meters x 2.2 meters for example).
A sufficient number of brackets/ supports are made for each VI Piping, and special U-clamp and rubber pad are used to fix the pipe and bracket/ support. Each VI Piping should be fixed at least 3 points according to the length and direction of the VI Piping.
Brief of the Metal Shelf
The size of the metal shelf is usually within the range of ≤11 m in length, 1.2-2.2 m in width and 1.2-2.2 m in height.
The maximum size of metal shelf is in line with the 40 feet standard container (top-open container). With the international freight professional lifting lugs, the packing shelf is hoisted into the open top container at the dock.
The box is painted with antirust paint, and shipping mark is made according to international shipping requirements. The shelf body reserves an observation port (as shown in the picture above), which is sealed with bolts, for inspection according to the requirements of the customs.
