Product Application

The Dynamic Vacuum Pump System is designed to maintain optimal vacuum levels in cryogenic equipment for liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, liquid hydrogen, liquid helium, LEG and LNG, ensuring peak thermal performance and minimizing heat leak. Crucial for a wide range of Vacuum Insulated applications, this system helps maintain a strong seal in Vacuum Insulated Valve, Vacuum Insulated Pipe, and Vacuum Insulated Hose systems to ensure safety. Each Dynamic Vacuum Pump System goes through a series of test before launch.

Key Applications:

  • Cryogenic Storage: The Dynamic Vacuum Pump System helps to maintain the vacuum integrity of cryogenic tanks, Dewar flasks, and other storage vessels, minimizing boil-off and extending hold times. This enhances the performance of these Vacuum Insulated containers.
  • Vacuum-Insulated Transfer Lines: They improve performance for air and liquid transfer applications. Using the Dynamic Vacuum Pump System helps to limit the risk of damage over the years.
  • Semiconductor Manufacturing: The Dynamic Vacuum Pump System improves the stability. This helps the Vacuum Insulated Valve, Vacuum Insulated Pipe, and Vacuum Insulated Hose equipment that is used.
  • Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology: Vital for maintaining the integrity of cryogenic storage systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, biobanks, cell banks, and other life science applications, ensuring the preservation of sensitive biological materials.
  • Research and Development: In research environments where precise temperature control and vacuum conditions are essential, the Dynamic Vacuum Pump System can be used with a Vacuum Insulated Valve, Vacuum Insulated Pipe, and Vacuum Insulated Hose to ensure accurate, repeatable experiments.

HL Cryogenics' product line, including Vacuum Insulated Valves, Vacuum Insulated Pipes, and Vacuum Insulated Hoses, undergoes stringent technical treatments to ensure optimal performance in demanding cryogenic applications. Our systems are well built for our users.

Dynamic Vacuum Insulated System

Vacuum Insulated (Piping) Systems, including both Vacuum Insulated Pipes and Vacuum Insulated Hoses systems, can be categorized as either Dynamic or Static. Each has unique applications in maintaining vacuum within cryogenic equipment.

  • Static Vacuum Insulated Systems: These systems are fully assembled and sealed within the manufacturing factory.
  • Dynamic Vacuum Insulated Systems: These systems utilize a Dynamic Vacuum Pump System on-site to maintain a highly stable vacuum state, eliminating the need for in-factory vacuuming. While assembly and process treatment still occur at the factory, the Dynamic Vacuum Pump System is a crucial component for Vacuum Insulated Pipes and Vacuum Insulated Hoses.

Dynamic Vacuum Pump System: Maintaining Peak Performance

Compared to Static systems, Dynamic Vacuum Insulated Piping maintains a consistently stable vacuum over time thanks to continuous pumping by the Dynamic Vacuum Pump System. This minimizes liquid nitrogen losses and ensures optimal efficiency for Vacuum Insulated Pipes and Vacuum Insulated Hoses. While offering superior performance, Dynamic systems have a higher initial cost.

The Dynamic Vacuum Pump System (typically including two vacuum pumps, two solenoid valves, and two vacuum gauges) is an integral part of the Dynamic Vacuum Insulated System. The use of two pumps provides redundancy: while one undergoes maintenance or oil changes, the other ensures uninterrupted vacuum service for the Vacuum Insulated Pipes and Vacuum Insulated Hoses.

The key advantage of Dynamic Vacuum Insulated Systems lies in reducing long-term maintenance on Vacuum Insulated Pipes and Vacuum Insulated Hoses. This is especially beneficial when piping and hoses are installed in difficult-to-access locations, such as floor interlayers. Dynamic Vacuum Systems provide the optimal solution in these scenarios.

The Dynamic Vacuum Pump System continuously monitors the vacuum level of the entire piping system in real-time. HL Cryogenics utilizes high-power vacuum pumps designed to operate intermittently, extending equipment lifespan. These are essential for maintaining optimal performance of cryogenic equipment.

Within a Dynamic Vacuum Insulated System, Jumper Hoses connect the vacuum chambers of Vacuum Insulated Pipes and Vacuum Insulated Hoses, facilitating efficient pump-out by the Dynamic Vacuum Pump System. This eliminates the need for a dedicated Dynamic Vacuum Pump System for each individual pipe or hose segment. V-band clamps are commonly used for secure Jumper Hose connections.
