HL Cryogenics: Advanced Vacuum Insulated Solutions at APE2026

HL Cryogenics joined the APE2026 exhibition from February 4-6, where we showed off the latest in high-performance vacuum insulation. We’ve always aimed to raise the bar, and this time we brought a whole lineup of solutions that push thermal efficiency in moving cryogenic fluids—liquid nitrogen, oxygen, LNG, you name it.

Our main spotlight was on our Vacuum Insulated Pipe and Vacuum Insulated Flexible Hose systems. These aren’t just pipes and hoses—they’re engineered to stop radiant heat in its tracks. We use multi-layer super insulation and a high-vacuum annular space. Inside every pipe, a strong vacuum jacket keeps the inner and outer stainless steel lines apart, which basically wipes out convective heat transfer. Our Vacuum Insulated Flexible Hose, on the other hand, handles vibration-sensitive jobs without losing any thermal performance.

 Advanced Thermal Insulation

One of the big highlights was our Dynamic Vacuum Pump System. It’s a workhorse that keeps the vacuum level right where it needs to be, all the time. It watches for any outgassing from the metal inside and keeps the environment perfect for cryogenic efficiency, so you don’t have to worry about performance drifting over time.

Visitors also got hands-on with our Vacuum Insulated Valve and Phase Separator. The valve comes with an extended stem and thermal breaks—so no more ice at the actuator. The Phase Separator makes sure you get high-purity liquid every time by removing gas as it forms during transfer.

By combining our Dynamic Vacuum Pump System, Vacuum Insulated Valve, and Phase Separator, we give you a setup that moves liquid helium efficiently and keeps costs down. Our Mini Tanks and Flexible Hoses let us handle both mobile and fixed jobs with precision.

No matter if you’re running a massive LNG terminal or a high-tech lab, HL Cryogenics stays ahead in vacuum insulation. We deliver the durability and thermal accuracy you need for the toughest cryogenic work out there. Reach out to HL Cryogenics today — let’s talk about what you need, and our team will help you build a custom cryogenic system that raises your performance and keeps your operation safe and efficient.

Operational Safety Managed by Valve and Valve Box

We showed how our Mini Tanks offer compact, rock-solid storage for labs and medical use, and they fit right in with our hose assemblies. Throughout the event, we talked about how our cryogenic pipe and hose systems stand up to tough global safety standards—whether that's high-purity nitrogen delivery for semiconductors or rocket fueling in aerospace.

In LNG terminals, our Vacuum Insulated Valves and large-scale pipe networks handle wild temperature swings while keeping structure and vacuum integrity tight. Add our Dynamic Vacuum Pump System, and you get automated maintenance, cutting down on manual work.

 Precision Flow & Phase Control

We build our Vacuum Insulated Valve with a special thermal break, so the actuator and stem stay at room temperature—even when the valve’s handling liquid helium or nitrogen at freezing-cold levels. This keeps the valve running smoothly and stops ice from messing with the seals or causing things to jam up. When we tie the Vacuum Insulated Valve straight into the vacuum-jacketed network, we cut out the big heat leaks you get with old-school foam insulation.

Whether you need a specialized Phase Separator for a research lab or a full cryogenic pipe setup for an industrial gas plant, we’re always working to stretch the limits of what cryogenic engineering can do. Our experts at APE2026 had plenty of real-world advice on customizing our Flexible Hose and Mini Tank systems to fit whatever pressure and temperature profiles your project demands.

If you’re looking for custom cryogenic solutions that deliver top-level safety and efficiency, get in touch. We’re ready for your toughest challenges.

Long cryogenic piping runs into another problem: two-phase flow. To keep that under control, we use the Vacuum Insulated Phase Separator. It vents off the unwanted gas that forms as the liquid moves through the line, keeping delivery pressure steady. That way, whether you're fueling up a satellite or running a semiconductor lithography tool, your equipment gets a reliable, dense stream of liquid—just what you need for smooth operation.

What is the minimum order quantity?

We are happy to accommodate orders of any size — from single units to large-scale projects.

What manufacturing standards does HL Cryogenics follow?

HL Cryogenics' Vacuum Insulated Pipe (VIP) is manufactured in accordance with the ASME B31.3 Pressure Piping Code as our standard.

What raw materials does HL Cryogenics use?

HL Cryogenics is a specialized vacuum equipment manufacturer, sourcing all raw materials exclusively from qualified suppliers. We can procure materials that meet specific standards and requirements as requested by customers. Our typical material selection includes ASTM/ASME 300 Series Stainless Steel with surface treatments such as acid pickling, mechanical polishing, bright annealing, and electro polishing.

What are the specifications for Vacuum Insulated Pipe?

The size and design pressure of the inner pipe are determined according to the customer's requirements. The size of the outer pipe follows HL Cryogenics' standard specifications, unless otherwise specified by the customer.

What are the advantages of the Static VI Piping and VI Flexible Hose System?

Compared with conventional piping insulation, the static vacuum system provides superior thermal insulation, reducing gasification losses for customers. It is also more cost-effective than a dynamic VI system, lowering the initial investment required for projects.
